CFD modeling of influenza virus diffusion during coughing and breathing in a ventilated room

The virus diffusion in a ventilated room with the droplets produced by coughing and breathing are presented Lagrangian model. When human body is located middle of two locations AC, front behind body, three angles Air Conditioning (AC) gate applied 0°, 30°, 60° to show droplet particle these cases. Three types velocity profiles were selected, real coughing, sinusoidal cough, cough jet one profile as step function cover inhaling exhaling cycle. simulation results that uncovered standing room, more susceptible infection for bouncy forced flow around body. Droplet moves random it very sensitive thermal load inside generally depends on force pressure due convection heat transfer. when AC location at opposite direction flow, travels distance about 3 m, 2.85 2.75 m respectively. While travel 3.1 3.2 2.9 same flow. Finally, adopted CFD modeling was also used effects different distribution indoor spaces, such buildings, hospitals, public transports, Also, showed good visual demonstration representation physical processes.
